Mystic monsters

Refer to the standard rules of the game, the following rules apply to the new "The Counter(fit)" Purgatory Cards 

The new "Counter(fit)" cards inject a fresh, mathematical layer of deception into your hand. When a player draws one of these cards, they must first read a mathematical equation aloud to all other players.

The card presents a challenge: do you state the truth by announcing the real, highlighted answer to the equation, or do you attempt to lie by selecting one of the other numbers listed on the card—or even by fabricating a completely different answer of your own choosing? 

Playing the game 

To play the Mystic monsters game as a two player mini game you will need to collect all 40 cards and use the advanced play rules.

To expand your A Life In Purgatory main game from a 2-4 person game to a 2-6 person game you will need to collect two additional Truth and Lie cards along side the other 38 cards from this set. Add these cards to your main game and play with up to 6 people.
